The park manager reports that after learning of the spill on Saturday morning, S&G Pumping Service responded and discovered that a clogged sewer pipe resulted in 2 lift station pumps overheating and failing. Repairs will continue through tomorrow and lime is being spread over the impacted area.

Our staff went today and did not find mosquitoes breeding in any of the water present. We will inspect again on Friday, 1/24/14 and treat if necessary.

Our staff inspected four ponds and a drainage ditch at the park today. We found breeding in two of the ponds that were filled earlier in the week and treated those ponds. We will inspect again next week. Please call our office with questions (760 342 8287).
