SOUTH COAST AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT PM10 WINDBLOWN DUST ADVISORY Issued Thursday, August 21, 2014 A PM10 Dust Advisory is in effect for Thursday, August 21, 2014, in the Coachella Valley (Riverside County, Forecast Area 30). Locally strong gusty winds due to thunderstorm activity and caused blowing dust and sand and PM10 particulate matter concentrations to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups level, or higher, in portions of the Coachella Valley this afternoon. The thunderstorm activity and associated winds and PM10 concentrations are predicted to decrease late this evening.
